Our Pre-K – 8 Admissions Process

Step 1: Learn More

If you are just beginning your school search, complete our Inquiry Form. We will call you within 24 hours and we can chat about the Blessed Sacrament School Community and help you decide if it would be a good fit for your child. We can also schedule a school visit so you can take a tour and meet with the principal.

Step 2: Apply

If you have made your decision to apply to Blessed Sacrament, complete our Application Packet and submit your $30 application fee. To complete an Application Packet, you will first be directed to create a Family Portal Account. Once you have your Family Portal Account, you can complete the Application.

Step 3: enroll

Once your Application Packet is complete, we will review your application materials within 2-5 business days. At that point, we will make an application decision and give you a call. Successful candidates will be invited to enroll in Blessed Sacrament and receive an email with a link to our Enrollment Packet. If you accept, you will complete and submit the Enrollment Packet along with a $100 deposit (deposit is applied to your tuition).

Step 4: financial aid

We highly recommend that all of our families apply for Financial Aid through both the Providence Diocese and the Blessed Sacrament Parish. You need to reapply for financial aid every year. Too many families forget or refuse to fill out the financial aid forms and they miss out on receiving considerable amounts of money for their children's education -- don't miss out! You can view our Tuition Policy and Contract down below.

First, you must apply for the Diocesan Financial Aid through your FACTS Family Portal. Click the button below and it will take you to the correct page. You only need to fill out one form for the entire family.
After you have applied for the Diocesan Financial Aid, you may apply for the Blessed Sacrament Parish Endowment Fund. Please complete all the questions in this Google Form to be considered for a tuition reduction.
Families with children in Pre-K can apply for assistance through the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) offered through the Department of Human Services. 
Families with children in Pre-K or children 12 and under who are in child care, can also apply to the Cabrini Fund: Catholic Charities Child Care Scholarships.
Additionally, families with children in middle school (grades 6, 7, 8) can also apply for scholarships through the RI Foundation, which supports families wishing to send their children to private school. We have had several families in recent years receive sizable scholarships from the RI Foundation. Please apply.

Step 5: Get Ready for School!

Once your enrollment is complete, you will receive a welcome letter from your teacher and a list of classroom supplies. At this point, you will want to purchase a school dress uniform and a P.E. (gym) uniform for your child from Donnelly's.
If you live in Providence, you may want to request School Bus service through the Providence Public Schools District. You can download the form in either PDF or Word formats. You then send the completed form to the address on the form.
