100 years of serving Providence families...we have to celebrate this!
And not with some small little ceremony. No, we need a full year of celebrating the rich legacy that is Blessed Sacrament School.
But to do this right, we need the alumni involved. A year-long celebration will only happen if our alumni rally and get involved. So call up your classmates. Reach out to them on social media. Let's gather a good-sized committee together so we can begin planning our events.
While the committee will ultimately create the vision for our celebration, here are a few seeds:
We have a 100 years of stories capable of connecting the generations -- let's tell them.
We have classmates we haven't seen in years -- let's bring them all back together again.
We have a rich history of serving Providence families -- let's celebrate it.
We have beloved classmates whom we miss -- let's remember them.
We have a treasure trove of pictures that illustrate the changes and growth in our community -- let's display them.
Now, start imagining how we make all of this happen: a gala? a memorial mass? a boat cruise? lunch and learns with the students? a gallery wall as you enter the building? The possibilities are endless but we need alumni to join us.
