7th Grade
7th grade Social Studies: We are beginning our study of the American Revolution.
Grade 7 pre algebra students are solving equations involving decimals. They will also begin studying divisibility, factors and exponents.
Science- Grade 7 is learning about simple organisms-protists and fungi. We will be moving on to plants next.
Grade 7 Literature and Writing: We have completed our unit on Myths but look forward to viewing our Powerpoint projects based on this unit. We have begun our study of poetry. In addition to writing poetry, we are working on writing non-fiction essays with a focus on
expository and persuasive essays.
Religion
We will be finishing Unit 2 and taking an assessment.
We will begin The Family Life Program.
