Social Studies

The purpose of the Social Studies program is to develop in our students’ knowledge of, understanding of, and respect for the world in which we live. By expanding their global awareness, students will better appreciate the interdependence of the modern world and their own responsibilities as Christian world citizens. As a result, students will gain respect for the diversity of the world in which they live.

The Social Studies program expands students’ awareness of history, geography, and the modern world. This awareness helps them understand the living conditions and needs of people both locally and globally.
